THANK YOU to our countless parent and family volunteers who help each day at Elkins in various activities and events on and off campus.
Elkins PTO is growing with the help of our parents, families, communities, and Elkins Staff. Elkins PTO wants to continue to enhance the academic and social experience of students and staff at EHS through through financial and volunteer support.
We can only do this when Elkins families and community offer their time and support to events and activities at Elkins.
If you would like to help in any way (volunteering or financially) for the 2018-19 school year, please email Tina Hood, President email@example.com.
Parent volunteer hours are part of the data for the school and this data becomes part of the overall evaluation for Elkins. Volunteer Hours can have an impact on everything from funding programs and facility upgrades.
A few examples include, committee meetings, team parent activities, chaperoning, organizing and planning events and meetings, selling concessions, etc.
YOUR HOURS COUNT - SO COUNT THOSE HOURS!
Many volunteer hours are done on campus and those hours are logged when you check in and out of the school.
We also need to capture the hours that are not logged by the school system.
Please report any additional hours (those not logged at school) to your booster club president or designee by the 3rd of each month for consolidation.
To volunteer at Elkins at any time during the school year, you must have a current background check. A new one is required EACH SCHOOL YEAR, so if you did one last school year, it is no longer active.
Please complete a Background Check!
